Vacation is Ending

We Want More!!!

I am so in love with all of the fun that I have had with my grand-daughter. Long summer days filled with fun and sun. We have learned so much about and from each other. Who would have thought that a four year would change my world so much.

Now for the fun part. We are all royals now. My dogs have  titles of Princess and Prince before their names. Even Grandma and Gramps are not without the Queen and King title.

She runs around in her favorite princess garb many days. It is so funny to see her chase the squirrels in her satin Rapunzel gown. Yelling Squirrel at the top of her lungs to keep the little guys from taking off with our garden veggies. \

Well on the days we don’t dress-up we needed a “royal” looking wardrobe accessories. So thanks to my eBosser and some flower dies we are making new headbands and flip-flops to rule our world.

I love this so!

I love how the “Royal” set came out. I used several layers of satin, pink felt and organza to fashion her accessories. My eBosser  worked its great magic, buy cutting layers of tule and satin. I used the Embelle Gelli to place the  larger sequins and then painted it on  to capture loose qlitter to add sparkle to her shoes.

It was so much fun and I am so glad that I have the Scraperfect tools to keep my creations together.

I used Scraperfect Glue and Embellie Jelly to add all of the sparkle. Reilee loves adding glitter with it as well.

Thank you so much Craftwell and Scraperfect for all of the great Summer Fun!

Hugs to all,

Stop and Smell the Roses

Stop and Smell the Roses!

Well a little over a week down and we are still surviving the visit of the four year old. She has been a joy and thank goodness none of my fears of tears have happened. Each day she looks forward to what we are going to do. She is in love with my eBosser. She can load the little pirate and crown dies herself and cut till she uses all of her paper. She is having a blast.  Best of all me to. She has brought back and zest for life that I didn’t realize that I had misplaced.  Thank you Craftwell for helping me give her a daily dose of her own “crafty time”.

Well every day we try to come up with a fun event for the next day and Rei wanted so much to have a picnic. No not the red gingham and basket but a fancy tea party picnic. (where in the world did this come from) So she told me that we need cards to put people in their seats. She is four going on twenty. She said at her Teddy Bear Tea she always has a cute card with her name on it. So we dug into my dies and came out with the Birdie Place Card die by Sizzix. She loves it because she loves the bluebirds. So we got busy with the CraftwellUSA’s eBosser and some great paper as well as the ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever. She is really adept at using this glue little spots hold very quickly and our project is done.

We also used a wonderful Pounce pad called the Perfect Crafting Pouch. This little pouch dried ink almost instantly so no smears with little hands!

Here is our project a cute little place card for Rei!

I tried to convince her to use another color but she said she loves Pink. Oh well , can’t wait to see what is in store for us tomorrow. Grab a moment and hang on!

Ice Cream Dreams!

Ice Cream Dreams!

Well my last two weeks have been a rollercoaster. I had a death in my family and had to travel for the service to honor this sweet lady. I also had to make a decision to enjoy my four year old grand-daughter on a one to one summer vacation. I am very excited and tired. We didn’t remember all of the moving around we are doing right now. My grand loves my craft room and so we took a little break today after our trip to come up with a sweet treat for her. I showed her all  of my files and she loved the Ice Cream Cone.

We had so much fun making this. I used Fiskar’s texture plates with my Craftwell eBosser. I had to use several of the extra plates to build up the sandwich for this one. I am still experimenting with this one. But you can see the pattern on the cone and on the “ice cream” I love them and used a chalk to brush the depth on.

I also am now totally committed to my new best glue. ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever  Even my grand-daughter loves it. It is really great and becomes firm right away.

Here you can see the wonderful patterns that my eBosser produced. I am more and more in love with my machine each day! Hoping that my next few weeks remain quiet!

Have a great week,
